Worcestershire County Council's Libraries and Learning Services' new Adult Learning Prospectus is out now, with information on the range of courses taking place across the county.

It will be useful if you are looking for a career change, returning to work, or simply want to meet new people while learning something new for fun.

There are around 400 courses available across the county which are held in libraries, schools and other local learning centres.

These include courses on IT and Digital Media, foreign languages, self-defence for women, gardening, first aid and many more.

Kathy Kirk, Strategic Libraries and Learning Manager said: " We have a really great range of courses on offer; you can learn something different and new for leisure, to meet new people or learn new skills to get back into work, just come along and give it a try."

A student from one of the computer skills courses said: " I have gained so much from the course, it has given me more confidence as well as new skills in using different computer programmes. This course will be invaluable in helping me take the next steps towards getting a job."
