VISITERS enjoyed a cup of tea an' a slice of cake at a festive tea party held at the Co-operative Travel in Kidderminster.
Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally hosted the event which raised £268 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Staff members served up hot drinks and cake dressed as popular children's characters in return for donations to the Midcounties Co-operative chosen charity.
Assistant manager of the Franche branch Stephanie Massey said: "It was really successful. We did the tea party inside the store and stood outside to get people to pay £1 to put their name in a box for the chance to win a prize donated by the staff.
"People were really generous. It was lovely, we had quite a few people who had tea and cake and some older people came in who really enjoyed the company.
"We'll definitely be doing another event next year. The Co-operative do put a lot of thought into the charities they choose. It's just brilliant to raise money for a charity close to our staff members' hearts."
