A SERVICE will be held in Welsh to celebration St David's Day in Stourport.
The communion service will be led by Rev Eva McIntyre, vicar of Stourport and Wilden, at All Saints' Church in Wilden on Sunday. (March 2)
The special service is for all Welsh speakers, as well as people learning the language to celebrate the Patron Saint of Wales.
Ms McIntyre said: "There are a lot of Welsh speakers in the West Midlands and it’s great to be able to provide a Eucharist service especially for them.
"Of course non-Welsh speakers who simply like to listen to the language are very welcome too."
The service will take place at 3pm and will celebrate St David in words, music and prayer.
There will be refreshments afterwards and time to talk in either English or Welsh.
