A YOUNG motorcyclist died as the result of an accident during a race in Stourport, an inquest heard.
Joseph Edge, of Chorley in Lancashire, died on Sunday, March 23 after suffering fatal injuries a week earlier at Coney Farm in Stourport.
The 17-year-old had lost control and fell from his motorcycle on Sunday, March 16.
He was air-lifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he later died.
His death was recorded as accidental at an inquest by the Worcestershire Coroner on Thursday last week.
