AS TALENT fever grips the nation again with the start of Britain's Got Talent, Stourport schoolchildren held their very own talent show.

The pupils at Burlish Park Primary School showed off their array of talents to teachers who acted as judges for the in-school competition.

Among those trying out their luck to be crowded top of the school were Daniel Houghton and brothers Noah and Luke Davison who made up cooking comedy act Dunn Badley and footballers Isak Williams and Rio Moule who showed football is more than just kicking a ball.

But the winners were dancing duo Emilia White and Sophie Elliot, both 10, who performed a dance to Up b Olly Murs.

Both girls attend dance classes at Step by Step Dance Group in Stourport.

Year five teacher Hannah Ramsden, one of the judges, said: "The children here at Burlish Park have an amazing range of talents and it was a very difficult task to choose the finalists.

"We had a wide variety acts from singing and dancing to football skills and slapstick comedy. It was an extremely difficult job choosing the winners as they were all so fantastic."
