A PARTY that is fielding four candidates in the Wyre Forest District Council elections will be holding a rally in Kidderminster next week.
The Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition will hold the event at St George’s Annexe in Radford Avenue Kidderminster on Wednesday, April 22 starting at 7.30 pm.
Two candidates, Nigel Gilbert and Kevin Young, will be speaking at the event. The other two candidates are Ingra Kirkland and Lawrie Boyle.
The guest speaker is Ted Woodley, TUSC’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Birmingham Erdington.
Nigel Gilbert will talk about their plans for bringing jobs back to Wyre Forest, while Kevin Young will speak about workers’ rights and the NHS.
TUSC is standing over 130 candidates across the country in the general election and over 600 local election candidates.
The group said all are welcome to attend.
