JUST like the Ugly Duckling, the Ugly Yellow Handbag had a hard start in the fashion world, but when someone cottoned on its charity potential, it's become the best bag in the fundraising pond.
After starting its charitable life by being donated to raise money for the Great Whitley church roof and only raising £25, a few charity sales later it skyrocketed to raising £1,090 for cancer patients.
Now a celebrity, the bag travels around the country raising money.
And this weekend (August 1 and 2), it will be at The Dog at Dunley, Stourport, raising money for cancer support.
Tracy Ganne, pub manager, said: "It's a great cause and as it started in Great Witley it's almost come home."
The pub will be displaying the bag for photographs with 'fans' and will be selling raffle tickets to win a meal for two for £1 each or £4 for a strip.
The winner will be drawn at the end of August.
