YOUNGSTERS at a Kidderminster school danced to the sound of a Samba beat when they took part in a Brazil Day.
Pupils from Years 5 and 6 at Birchen Coppice Primary School took part in a host of Brazilian-themed activities.
These activities included Samba drumming, Carnival dancing during which parents were invited to take part, having Portuguese lessons and making tasty Brazilian lemonade.
Children helped to fund the activities by selling popcorn in the run up to the Brazil Day, which was held on November 20.
The day was organised by Assistant Head Claire Smith to celebrate the end of their topic on Brazil.
She said: βIt was a memorable and enjoyable day for the staff and children, who were able to fully immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Brazil.β
