PHOTOGRAPHY enthusiasts are urged to entre an annual calendar competition at Webbs garden centre in Wychbold.

The competition is now in its twelfth year and Webbs judges are again scouting for the 12 best pictures of flowers, gardens and plants.

Chairman Ed Webb said: "We are surrounded by such beautiful countryside and gardens in Worcestershire that we don’t need to go far to capture some fantastic images.

"It may be a photo taken in your own garden or from when you were out walking or visiting somewhere special. We always have a great response to the competition and are looking forward to seeing this year’s entries."

For the first time, photographers under 18 can enter and members of the public will be able to vote for the winner using social media.

And exhibition of the winners will be held in September, with the 2017 calendar going on sale this Autumn.

A donation of 50p for every one sold is donate to gardening charity Greenfingers which creates gardens in children's hospices. Judging will take place in June.

Entry forms are available at the stores in Droitwich Road, Wychbold, and Kidderminster Road, West Hagley.
