YOUNGSTERS from a Kidderminster primary school enjoyed lunch in their playground as they celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday.
St Oswald’s CE Primary School, based in Sion Hill, held the outdoor lunch for pupils from reception to Year 6 with music playing.
The event was organised by the school’s PTA group St Oswald’s Extras and a spokesman said it was a great success. After the lunch, children were given the opportunity to buy cake and ice cream.
And the celebrations didn’t end there as every child was presented with a personalised keyring souvenir to remember the day.
