DOZENS of boats decked out in red, white and blue will line up in Stourport next month to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
Stourport Yacht Club has organised a celebratory parade to take place on Sunday, June 12 from 2pm.
The event will see boats travelling up and down the River Severn with owners urged to decorate their vessels in the colours of the Union Flag.
Organisers say all types of boats are welcome to join in while prizes will be awarded for the best dressed ones.
Those taking part are asked to assemble near The Angel at Severnside at 2pm before the procession starts at 3pm.
Anyone interested in taking part is asked to see Bernie Jones at Stourport Yacht Club on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday for more information.
