NEW photos released by Wyre Forest District Council offer a sneak peak inside the new Wyre Forest Leisure Centre - a month before its opening.
Photographs posted on their Twitter account today (Tuesday, June 21) show a glimpse of the facility including the swimming pool, cafe, changing rooms and football pitches.
It will officially open its doors to residents on July 6.
Last week, Councillor Marcus Hart, Leader of Wyre Forest District Council said: "We are now so close to opening and the excitement is really building.
"We are looking forward to Wednesday, July 6, when people will be able to visit and use the first class leisure facility that they have.
"With excellent project management and working closely with our partners, the centre will be completed on budget, on time and will save the council in excess of £500,000 per year."
Wyre Forest District Council awarded the contract to design, build, operate and manage the centre to Places for People Leisure (PfPL) at the start of 2015.
