A WOMAN had to be cut free from a car after a road smash in Dudley this evening (Monday).
Firefighters from Dudley Fire Station used specialist cutting equipment to rescue the woman following the two-car collision in Wolverhampton Street, involving a Mazda MX5 and a Vauxhall Astra.

Police and paramedics were also alerted to the incident which happened just at 7.38pm.
The woman was taken to hospital with a suspected shoulder injury after being cut free from the mangled Mazda MX5.
