A BEWDLEY pensioner committed suicide at his home, a coroner ruled.
Paul Bishop, 68, was found dead at his home in Severnside South on August 25.
The inquest heard Mr Bishop was under investigation in respect of criminal matters at the time of his death.
An inquest held by the Worcestershire Coroner’s Service, which opened on September 6, and closed on Friday, November 11, recorded a verdict of suicide.
The medical cause of death, confirmed at the inquest, is listed as asphyxia with a plastic bag.
