REGULARS at a Bewdley pub donated toys to West Mercia Women's Aid for children at the refuges over Christmas.
Customers and staff at the Horn and Trumpet, in Dog Lane, as well as the Bridgnorth branch of Co-operative Funeral Care, collected toys to be donated to West Mercia Women's Aid.
Janet Bennett, who works at the Co-op Funeral Care, said: "The toys were given to West Mercia Women's Aid for the children within their refuges over the Christmas period.
"Angela Cooke, the landlady of the Horn and Trumpet, and I are both looking at organising a school clothes collection for the children of the refuge in the coming year - as well as many other fundraising events."
The charity supports women and children who break free from domestic violence and abuse.
