A MAN is reported to have made a strangling gesture towards a woman while racially abusing her.
The incident happened on a train between Kidderminster and Worcester Foregate Street on Thursday, June 8.
The woman boarded the train at Kidderminster at 7.20pm and while it was travelling, the man stood up and began racially abusing her.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on the Stratford to Worcester Foregate Street service at the same time and saw what happened.
British Transport Police said officers have arrested a 33-year-old man from Worcester on suspicion of racially aggravated public order.
The man was also arrested for carrying a lock knife and a Class B drug. He has been released pending further investigation.
