A STOURPORT mother admitted drink driving with her daughter in the car, when she appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court last week.

Katie Jordan, 45, of Evergreen Way, drove to her ex-partner's home in Agatha Gardens, Fernhill Heath, near Worcester, at almost twice the alcohol limit as her daughter wanted to see her father.

The court heard that police were called to the address after hearing reports of "shouting and swearing" and they saw Jordan's daughter in the car.

Police reported that they could smell alcohol on her and she blew 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.

She admitted having driven to Fernhill Heath from Stourport and was given an 18 month driving ban, a £250 fine, told to pay £135 costs and a victim surcharge of £30.

She appeared in Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, November 9.
