A CAR owner left his car to get a new tyre, before returning to find it on fire in Stourport on Monday evening (November 27).
West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the car fire on the Kingsway at around 5.50pm on Monday.
A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "The owner had left the car to get a new tyre and found it on fire."
One crew from Kidderminster fire station attended the scene to help put out the blaze.
The road was closed while emergency services crews dealt with the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 0579S of November 27.
