PUPILS at a Stourport primary school donned their best festive jumpers to help raise money for charity.
Youngsters at St Bartholomew's CE Primary School, in Princess Way, took part in the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, December 15.
Every pupil donated £1 on the day and raised more than £190 for Save the Children.
Headteacher, Susan Helps, said: "I am always very proud of the St Bartholomew's children who participate in charity events while at school.
"This year, as well as donating items to the Worcestershire Homeless Appeal, our children donated £1 each for the privilege of wearing a Christmas jumper to school on Friday instead of their school uniform, raising money for Save the Children.
"I was overjoyed to learn that we had managed to raise £194. The parents and children of St Bartholomew's are to be applauded for their commitment to local and national charities."
