A CABARET night will be held in a Kidderminster Hotel later this month to help raise funds for a new hospital bereavement maternity room.

Community champion Fred Holland and Rose Hutton of MG Promotions are hosting the night at Gainsborough House Hotel on Friday, February 23 from 8pm.

While Rose will compere the show, top acts performing include Eternity Duo singing songs from the shows, comedian David Bartley, Bobby Thomson of 60s band The Rockin’ Berries and Voices 4 Health Choir, led by Dr David Southall - chaplain team leader at Worcestershire Acute NHS Hospitals Trust.

The event is to raise money for a new Bereavement Maternity Suite, at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Trudy Berlet, Lead bereavement Support Midwife at the Hospital, said “We know the bereavement room creates a safe, quiet space for families to spend time and create memories with their baby that has died. We support families from 16 weeks of pregnancy in this area.”

Tickets are £10 each and available from Fred Holland 01562 68649, Rose Hutton 01562 852057 or from Kidderminster Maternity Suite.

Doors open at 7.30pm Show starts at 8pm.
