A PERSON was fortunate to receive "relatively minor injuries" following a caravan fire in Bewdley.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 2.10pm today (Sunday, June 10) to reports of a caravan fire in the Arley area.
Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel and one main jet.
One casualty was left with burns to the feet and received treatment from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Police warned residents to avoid the area.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said feedback suggests the cause was a faulty cooker.
They added: "Don't forget the importance in regularly checking your camping equipment.
"Fortunately appears to be relatively minor injuries to one person, and damage to the one caravan only."
