BEWDLEY Festival are thanking their supporters of the charity with a special night of entertainment including music performances and spoken word.

The exclusive Friends of Bewdley Festival event will be held at the Mercure Bewdley Heath Hotel on Wednesday July 4 at 7.30pm and will feature a headline set from Welsh singer/songwriter and X Factor contestant John Adams, who returns to delight the Bewdley audience with his emotional, acoustic music.

The free event will also feature local youth artist Beth Dalton, and spoken word performer Rob Barratt, who previously appeared at Bewdley Book Week.

Those who want to become a Friend of Bewdley festival can sign up on the evening by bringing a completed joining application form, which will give them access to the event and other member benefits.

The main Bewdley festival, now entering its 31st year, will begin on Friday October 12 at the hotel with a performance from Fine Young Cannibals singer Roland Gift.

Evenings with BBC broadcaster Jeremy Vine, and award-award winning poet Simon Armitage and more will also feature during the festival week.
