KIDDERMINSTER Rotarians have praised outstanding efforts of primary school children by presenting them with awards.
The Rotary Club of Kidderminster wanted to recognise children who had made great progress during the academic year and who had demonstrated perseverance, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
Youngsters from Birchen Coppice, Cookley Sebright, St Catherine’s, St Oswalds and Wolverley Sebright were presented with a £10 educational gift voucher by club president Bill Crook.
Ken Adderley, of The Rotary Club of Kidderminster, said: “These awards were for effort rather than for achievement.
“The Club would like to thank the staff in all schools for deciding which pupil in each year group deserved to be rewarded.”
