FAMILY and friends of volunteers at Acorns Children’s Hospice will be strutting their stuff on a Stourport catwalk.

A fashion show will be held at M&Co, in Lombard Street, Stourport, on Wednesday, September 5, with all proceeds from the event going to the charity.

The annual fashion show sees volunteers model men’s and women’s casual and formal outfits, as well as children’s clothes, and is a key event in the fundraising calendar for the Acorns Support Group for North Worcestershire.

Tickets for the event – which starts at 6.30pm – are £5 and are available in store at M&Co, which is on Lombard Street in Stourport, or by contacting Sheila Law on sheilamarylaw@gmail.com or John Jenkins on jenkins-john@btconnect.com.

As well as the fashion show, there will be a raffle and a chance to shop exclusively in M&Co after the show has finished.

Sheila Law, Acorns volunteer, said: “This is the 3rd year that M&Co in Stourport has supported Acorns, and the event is a really successful fundraiser for us.

“While the show itself is fun, the serious message is that Acorns relies on fundraising events like these to provide much needed resources for families in the region.

“Tickets are available to purchase now, and we look forward to another fantastic turnout for this vital charity.”
