ART enthusiasts are invited to a special afternoon event featuring a talk from an accomplished historian at this year's Bewdley Festival.

British art historian Barry Venning will bring his illuminating talk 'A Child of Six Could Do It – A Cartoonists View of Modern Art' to Bewdley Baptist Church on Monday October 15.

Barry has had a variety of work published, including a study on the paintings of John Constable, and recently took part in the BBC documentary ‘The Genius of Turner: Painting the Industrial Revolution.’

He is currently an Associate Lecturer with the Open University and lectures for NADFAS, Christie’s Education and other organisations.
