MUSIC from the big screen will be featured on the stage during a charity concert organised by a Kidderminster female choir.

Kidderminster Valentines will be joined by Alcester Victoria Silver Band to celebrate famous music from movies and musicals that have graced the stage and screen.

The show will take place on Saturday, November 17 at Kidderminster Town Hall, with doors opening at 7pm ahead of the 7.30pm start.

It has been arranged to help support and raise vital funds from Kemp Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Sue Strong, treasurer of the Valentines, said the group was busy rehearsing for the show and we’re looking forward to raising as much money as possible to support the causes.

Earlier this year, the Valentines celebrated the 30th anniversary of their formation in 1988 with a spectacular concert alongside their male counterparts the Kidderminster Male Choir.

This show is one of many in their busy programme and will be followed by a show at Wolverley Memorial Hall on Saturday, December 1.

Tickets for the November 17 cost £12 and can be booked via https://www.kidderminster-events.co.uk/event/kidderminster-valentines/.
