WEST Midland Safari Park have undergone a festive transformation and are celebrating the Christmas season with their annual Santa Safari.

The Bewdley attraction will delight visitors from now until December 30 with a host of Christmas activities, including the chance to meet Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and their elf helpers.

The park will be home to a magical grotto where children can meet the big man himself, and take home a photo and their very own present from the elves' workshop.

There will be an 'Elf Story Time,' an interactive story-telling show inspired by the animals at the park.

Children can also complete the Santa Activity Book, watch the festive Sea Lion Show and a visit the Elf Craft Club in the Safari Academy.

There’s also an ‘Elfie’ competition where visitors can take a picture with one of the jolly elves and post it on Facebook for a chance to win a special prize.

During the festive period, over 350 Christmas trees will decorate the Discovery Trail, complete with lights, baubles and a sprinkling of ‘snow.’

Holly Ashworth, Marketing and Park Events Officer said, “We are so lucky that Santa, Mrs Claus and all of the elves have agreed to stay with us and meet all of our lovely guests from 17 November.

What’s even better, is they have also agreed to extend their stay until 30 December, so that children who may not have got the chance to see them before Christmas, can visit them after and say thank you to Santa in person.”
