A LIVE gig come themed club night in Stourport will pay tribute to Quadrophenia, a 1979 British drama loosely based on The Who's 1973 rock opera of the same name.

The Quadrophenia Club Night at Stourport Civic Hall will see former The Specials saxophonist Drew Stansall spinning the best in Mod, Ska, two-tone, 60s, R&B and soul.

Band The Atlantics will be playing hits from Quadrophenia including Louie Louie, You Really Got Me, Green Onions, Da Doo Ron Ron, Be My Baby and My Generation in what organisers Tribute Worcester promise will be the ultimate tribute to the iconic film.

The event on Saturday, January 12 will take place from 8.30pm until 12.30pm, finishing off with a DJ playing hits from the era until late.

Tickets are now on sale, costing £13 each or £10 per person for orders of eight or more.
