A BEWDLEY choir got into the spirit of Red Nose Day by raising over £1000 at an event.
The 'Got 2 Sing' celebrated Comic Relief with a special rehearsal, where members sang in red noses, red t-shirts, jumpers, and dresses - including the male singers.
Members donated money to the cause during their choir rehearsal for Got 2 Sing’s Symphony Hall Concert ‘This is Us,’ this August, where over 800 choir members will take to the stage.
Each of the ten Got 2 Sing adult choirs which span the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire held events to help raise money for Comic Relief last week.
Choir leader Charlotte Crowe said: "Red Nose Day, as it is famously known, gives us a wonderful opportunity to have a little fun and raise funds for this amazing charity.
"It's good to know we have played a part in funding some incredible projects, in the UK and Africa to tackle projects which address poverty and injustice.
"In between the giggles we still managed to have a very productive rehearsal and I feel extremely blessed to have such fantastic members.”
