A TRIO of female Americana singers are set to delight music fans as they take to the stage at a Bewdley hall.

The Good Lovelies from Ontario, Canada, are the next country group to perform at St George's Hall, on Friday April 12.

Talented vocalists Kerri Ough, Sue Passmore, and Caroline Brooks will bring their stylistic country sound, which features elements of pop, roots, jazz, and even hip-hop, to the hall.

The trio first united in 2006 for a one-off performance and has since compiled a catalogue of four studio albums, a pair of EPs, a live album, and Christmas collection.

Their latest collection offers a balance between a more modern production style and their life-long musical inspirations.

The Good Lovelies will be supported by the duo Fortunate Ones, and the evening will be opened by a local Youth Act.

Tickets for the concert cost £12 and are available online at www.thehall-bewdley.org.uk, or at the Hall Café.

Doors open at 7.30pm.
