A 19-YEAR-OLD man from Kidderminster caused £754 worth of damage to the front door of a shop in Hoo Farm Industrial Estate.

Fynley Carse, of Oxford Street, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage when he appeared at Redditch Magistrates' Court on Monday (April 15).

On October 3 last year, Carse caused damage to the value of £754 to a glass panel in the front door of Go Outdoors clothing store at Hoo Farm Industrial Estate.

Magistrates fined him £100 and ordered him to pay compensation of £754 plus a victim surcharge of £85.

Carse also pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards Leslie Taylor in Kidderminster on September 17, and towards Matthew Crabtree on October 8.

He also admitted sending threatening text messages to Mr Crabtree on October 3, and to Contessa Crabtree-Carse on September 13.

A community order was made, requiring Carse to complete rehabilitation activity.
