Carol Spencer, who has gone missing
A YORK woman who went missing has turned up safe, police say.
North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal for help in finding Carol Spencer, 39, earlier today, saying officers were increasingly concerned for her safety after she failed to return home last night.
But a force spokeswoman has now said that she has been found safe. She thanked the media for its assistance to police in publicising their appeal.
