The finishing touches have been added to a newly constructed main building at a school.
Before Easter, a ‘Topping Out’ ceremony was held on the roof of the new Croxley Danes School building in Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green.
To mark the completion of the main structure of the new school the headteacher Stephen Thompson was joined by Chair of Governors Terry James and Chair of the Danes Educational Trust, Rosie Faunch in wielding the ceremonial trowel to symbolically put the finishing touches to the roof.
Speaking about the event, Mr Thompson remarked on the progress being made: “We are delighted that work is progressing so well and looking forward to the next big ceremony when the keys will be handed over.
“Croxley Danes looks forward to becoming an even more active member of the Croxley Green community when our students and staff move into the school next year.”
