A MAN from Kidderminster was remanded on bail after pleading guilty to stealing rich tea biscuits from Tesco.

Clint Hubble, of Park Street, admitted stealing biscuits to the value of £1 from Tesco in Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster, on April 18.

Appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on April 20, Hubble denied stealing cleaning products to the value of £40 from Halfords in Kidderminster, and also pleaded not guilty to stealing 10 Air Wick air fresheners worth £30 from Tesco in Castle Road.

The 42-year-old was remanded on unconditional bail until April 30, when he is set to appear before Kidderminster magistrates again.

In a separate case at Kidderminster Magistrates' on April 20, Kevin Machin, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 12 weeks for being intoxicated and abusive to people in Barnt Green on April 19.

The 53-year-old was prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order made by Redditch Magistrates' Court in 2017.

Magistrates sentenced him to 12 weeks in prison, and said that the offence was so serious because he had already breached criminal behaviour orders 40 times in the past.

Machin was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.
