A CHIP shop in Kidderminster town centre has come under new management, with a new menu offering gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

The Hanson family, consisting of Andrew, Christine and their 23-year-old daughter Steff, have taken over the former Our Plaice chip shop in Comberton Hill.

Now named Comberton Plaice, the chip shop sells a range of fish, pies, pasties, kebabs and burgers, as well as sides including mushy peas, gravy, curry sauce, baked beans and halloumi.

All food is cooked in groundnut oil, which is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and nut allergy sufferers.

The Hansons have been in the industry for more than 20 years, with both Andrew and Christine's parents owning their own chip shops.

Steff Hanson said: "From kid's boxes to specials to gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, there really is something for everyone at Comberton Plaice.

"Come and try the best fish and chips around.

"All food is cooked fresh to order and there is a dining area for customers to enjoy the food in-house."
