BODENHAM Arboretum in Wolverley is opening its gates to the public on Saturday, June 15 for an open air concert.

The event in Bodenham Lane will see local contemporary choir Got 2 Sing performing alongside Bromyard Symphonic Wind Band.

The open air concert, named Proms and Picnic in the Park, will be delivered by more than 170 performers and promises to be a night of quintessential music, covering a variety of genres, from contemporary to West End musicals and classic prom tunes.

James Binnian, owner of Bodenham Arboretum, said: “It’s something a little different on offer from Bodenham.

"Birdsong is usually the only sounds you’ll hear from the Arboretum but I think we have all eagerly awaited the arrival of summer and we think this is the perfect way - and venue - in which to celebrate.”

Guests are invited to bring picnics and their flags for a true ‘proms style’ finale.

The concert will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Tickets are £12.50 for adults and £5 for children, available directly from Bodenham Arboretum.
