AN air ambulance landed in a Kidderminster park this afternoon before a man was found dead at a house nearby.
Emergency services were called to an address in The Foxholes at around 12pm.
Witnesses reported seeing three land ambulances and six police cars parked outside a property just after midday, and saw the air ambulance landing in Baxter Gardens Park.
West Mercia Police has since confirmed that a man in his 80s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called at around 12pm today (Monday, July 1) to an address on The Foxholes in Kidderminster to reports of a concern for welfare for a man in his 80s.
"Police and ambulance were in attendance. Sadly the man was pronounced deceased.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
