A TALENTED soul singer is set to return to Bewdley to delight music fans next month.

Luton-born artist Jo Harman will bring her gospel and blues inspired pop sound to St George's Hall on Friday, August 2.

She will be accompanied by her pianist and showcase tracks from her album People We Have Become, chosen by BBC Radio Two as one of its albums of the week in 2018.

Jo has worked with a number of top artists, including celebrated singer Michael McDonald.

She said: “I’m just trying to write classic songs, and present them with classic production. When you try to chase what’s going on at the moment, then it’s going to sound old very quickly."

Jo will be supported on the evening by a local youth artist and band.

Tickets cost £12 via thehall-bewdley.org.uk or from Hall Café, and £15 on the door.

Door open at 7.30pm.
