A FORMER Horsefair restaurant owner has returned to the neighbourhood to open a new Asian cuisine takeaway.
Maggie Lee, aged 51, will open the Horsefair takeaway Nine Kitchen on Wednesday, September 4, which will offer Chinese, Korean and Tai dishes.
The owner previously ran a takeaway in Kidderminster around ten years ago before moving to Warwick and West Bromwich.
Maggie says that she feels Kidderminster is a "friendly" place and residents have already given her a warm welcome back.
She said: "Kidderminster is quite a friendly area. All the neighbours in Horsefair still know me.
"I was here ten years ago and I had a good relationship with my customers. I want people to know that I am back here."
The takeaway menu offers a range of authentic Asian dishes and Maggie says she will also cater to people wanting gluten free and vegetarian options.
She added: "I want people to eat happy and enjoy the food."
