A MAN has died after being hit by a lorry in Stourport this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Worcester Road, near to the Four Acres Cavan Park, at around 7am.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford with a doctor on board, were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said: "On arrival, ambulance staff they found a man who had suffered very serious injuries.
"Ambulance staff carried out advanced clinical care on the pedestrian, but unfortunately it was not possible to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
"There were no other patients.
Road closures were in place for most of the day.
