KIDDERMINSTER beer enthusiasts can quench their thirsts at a festival returning to the town hall next month.

Wyre Forest CAMRA’s annual Beer and Cider Festival will arrive at Kidderminster Town Hall for its seventh year from Thursday, November 7 to Saturday, November 9.

Festival Organiser Rob Budworth said: “Whether the weather is unseasonably warm or wet and miserable, it is a perfect time to visit Kidderminster’s charming Town Hall for a warm welcome and refreshments galore.

"As well as 42 real ales, 15 real ciders and perries plus local wines, this year will see the debut of a Gin Bar with both trusted favourites and speciality gins.”

The first day will be a preview for CAMRA members, publicans and brewers from noon to 2pm, and is open to the general public from 2pm to 11pm.

Thursday will also feature a regional judging panel helping to find the ‘CAMRA Beer of Britain.’

On Friday, the festival is open from 11am to 11pm and will feature live music in the evening. Saturday opening hours are 11am to 9pm.

Hot and cold meals and snacks will be available at the festival.

Each year CAMRA raises funds for a charity and have this year chosen the Alzheimer’s Society, who will have a presence at the Town Hall throughout the festival.
