A HUGE Ledbury RFC crowd were treated to their side taking an emphatic 74-0 win in their Midlands 3 West (South) clash with Burbage.
The tone was set early in the tie when Matt Hallett latched onto a stray pass and the result was an early try.
The dry conditions helped Ledbury immensely and helped them chalk up 40 points before the break.
Hallett tallied four tries in all and Ed Bennion, Charlie Barber- Starkey and Chris Simcock also crossed the line.
Despite a serious leg injury earlier in the season, Toby Rogers made a welcome return to the fray and also managed a try.
Ledbury’s respectable tally of 12 tries sees them well positioned in the league table, heading for Christmas.
Next Saturday sees Ledbury away to Coventry Welsh with the seconds at home to Cheltenham North seconds.
There is then a final pre-Christmas first XV home match against Woodrush on December 21.
