WESTFIELDS made it 20 league games unbeaten as they returned to winning ways during a nine-goal thriller at Flackwell Heath.

Phil Glover's side made a first ever trip to the High Wycombe based side and ran out 6-3 victors.

Westfields started brightly and took the lead early on when Dan Stoneman fired low past the home keeper before Ben Hayes doubled their lead with a tremendous volley at the far post.

However, the home side got into their stride and Dean Morgan pulled a goal back before Khalid Simmo equalised 2-2 after turning smartly on the edge of the box to fire high past Ian Havard.

Westfields struck again before half-time when a Billy Murphy free-kick bounced nicely for Cameron Peters to fire home.

Straight after the break the home side were level again when Adam Thomas scored a spectacular goal to make it 3-3.

Both sides created chances without scoring further goals until Richard Greaves and Aidan Thomas came on as substitutes.

Greaves made an immediate impact bundled home Dan Stoneman's cross to make it 4-3 in the 80th minute.

Glover's side then took up the initiative and Dan Stoneman made it 5-3 with another fine solo effort to all but seal the points.

King Baidoo then capped a tremendous late rally when he sped past the home defenders and fired low into the corner of the net to give Fields an emphatic 6-3 victory.
