POLICE have issued a CCTV appeal to trace a man who abused restaurant staff when a woman walked out and left him with no money.

Officers said a man became verbally abusive and pushed a member of staff during an incident in Chiquito at Tower Park in Poole.

A man and a woman ordered a meal and drinks on the evening of Friday November 15.

At around 9pm, the woman left first, leaving the man with no means to pay.

When the man was confronted by staff, it is reported he became verbally abusive and continued drinking.

As a member of staff attempted to take the drink off the man, the suspect pushed him.

Police Constable Cara Bradley, of Poole police, said: “We have been continuing to investigate this incident and have made a number of enquiries to try and identify the man involved but these have so far been unsuccessful.

“I am now issuing a CCTV image of the suspect and I would ask anyone who knows who he is to please contact Dorset Police.”
