FOUR people remain in police custody this morning after men with machetes stormed a Kidderminster street.
Officers were called to reports of men carrying machetes in Harold Evers Way at 2.40pm on Monday (May 18).
It is understood the incident continued in nearby Radford Avenue.
Four people were arrested at the scene, and West Mercia Police confirmed they all remained in police custody on Tuesday morning.
One man was rushed to hospital in connection with the disturbance and the extent of his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by West Mercia Police at 2.46pm on Monday to reports of an assault on Harold Evers Way in Kidderminster.
"We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and BASICS doctor to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found one patient, a man, with injuries not believed to be serious."
The road was closed for a short time.
