A PATIENT with coronavirus has died at Royal Bournemouth Hospital - the first recorded Covid-19 related death in a Dorset hospital for four weeks.
The death was recorded on July 13.
It is the only death recorded in a hospital in the south west in the past 24 hours.
Before this, the last death in a Dorset hospital occurred on June 15.
A total of 156 patients have now died with coronavirus in hospitals in the county.
NHS England officials said today that another 22 people who tested positive for Covid-19 had died.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England has risen to 29,125.
Patients were aged between 54 and 93 years old. All patients had known underlying health conditions.
