KIDDERMINSTER 234-7 OMBERSLEY 227-5 KCC WON BY 7 RUNS -4 POINTS. TOSS WON BY OMBERSLEY WHO ELECTED TO FIELD
The KCC openers had a good start scoring a quick 50 runs, including 10 extras, but in the final total in the 40 overs match, Ombersley conceded 25 extras.
Top scorers for KCC were Johar Johal 62, skipper Neil Pinner 54, Jason Round 32 and Connor Smith 27.
Some good bowling by Ombersley with Elliot Mason taking 3-27,Matt Davis 2-40 and Oliver Toiquare 2-57.
Nicholas Hammond was top scorer of the match as Ombersley took the match to a very close finish. His score of 93 plus George Panaji’s 63 certainly gave KCC a tough contest.
KCCs best bowlers were Liam Weston 3-44 and Chris Steele 2-28.
Next Saturday Kidderminster are at home to face Barnards Green (noon start)
