THERE have been no more coronavirus-related deaths at Herefordshire's care homes, with 62 people known to have died so far during the pandemic.
Office for National Statistics data shows that 127 deaths involving Covid-19 were provisionally registered in Herefordshire up to August 8, the same as the previous week.
Some 58 deaths have occurred at hospitals, and 68 outside hospital.
That includes 61 in care homes and four at private homes. A further three deaths occurred in hospices.
The figures are based on where Covid-19 is mentioned anywhere on the death certificate.
This is in contrast to daily figures from NHS England which only show patients who died at the Wye Valley NHS Trust after testing positive for coronavirus.
The ONS figures include deaths that occurred up to July 31 but were registered up to eight days later.
There were 29 deaths in the same period where Covid-19 was not mentioned on the death certificate.
Seven deaths happened in hospital, 13 in homes, five in care homes and four in hospices.
