HEREFORDSHIRE Council have warned residents not to make unnecessary journeys after flash flooding hit Hereford this evening.
Heavy rain, thunder and lightning has hit the city from about 5pm this evening.
A message from the council said: “Flash flooding is affecting parts of the county, particularly Hereford city.
“Please do not make any unnecessary journeys and do not drive through flood water.”
