Redditch United has announced a new main shirt sponsor Zoo Accounting and Business Solutions.

The Redditch company has signed a two-year deal supporting The Reds and have also taken over the club’s finance function too.

Chairman of Redditch Utd David Faulkner, who took over ownership of the club last month, said: "We are really pleased to have Zoo on board not just as a shirt sponsor but as another local business that will become part of the club’s growth moving forward. Their deal will also see them working with us and so this is part of a much bigger partnership.

"Originally we were going to keep the same kit design as part of our regular two-year cycle. Looking around the club now the changes over the summer have been clear for all to see. It seemed only fitting that we have a new look kit too and this clean and simple design fits our message. I would like to thank Jamie and Sam at Puma for helping us put this together so quickly.”

Zoo Accounting and Business Solutions Co-Founding Director Zeta Hewings said: "To be involved with Redditch United Football Club is a huge honour for us. We set up our business three years ago in Redditch and wanted to give something back to the community. It only took one meeting with David Faulkner for us to realise that RUFC are going places and we were really keen to get on board.

"Listening to David’s vision for the club and seeing the passion that he has when he’s discussing the future was inspiring!

"During the short time we’ve been at the club, we’ve also had the privilege of meeting some amazing people including volunteers, staff and fans. The community spirit around the club is something we’ve never seen at any other football club! We’re looking forward to this adventure together. Come on you Reds!”

In addition to Zoo Accounting the kit will also feature back of shirt sponsor JLC Body Repairs and short sponsor Cobalt Developments. This seasons 1st Team training kit and tracksuits have been sponsored by Rossiters Butchers.

The Reds will now also be sporting a new look kit supplied by Puma Teamwear. The Reds will remain in red and black at home and return to yellow and blue as the away kit. The new look design will also feature newly developed ‘digiline’ Club crest branding.

Shirts will be available from the Redditch Untied Online Club shop next week and there will be a stock of shirts available to purchase at the ground with delivery of these expected before the start of the season.
